Naim News – NDX 2 end of life and green light: going… going…

It’s the end of two eras at Naim Audio: NDX 2 network player has come to the end of production, and Naim’s iconic green LED glow is very close behind.

Since 2018, NDX 2 network player has been a crucial component of Naim’s Classic series: a player widely lauded across the industry and winner of numerous high-profile awards.

But time moves on, as of course does technology, and with the introduction of Classic 300 Series and new NSS-333 streamer, it is time for NDX 2 to retire gracefully.

There are still NDX 2 units in stock at Naim, which should be available into Q1 next year, so there is still a chance to order one (RRP £5999). Naim will continue to provide after-sales support on the NDX 2.

From green to white
As previously advised, Naim is transitioning from it’s trademark green LED illumination to white and the latest products to make the switch are SUPERNAIT 3, NAITXS3 and ND5 XS 2, which are now available to order with white LEDs. There is a very limited stock of SUPERNAIT 3s with the original green light, available to ship immediately, but no further green light NAIT XS3 or ND5 XS 2.
